Sidecar Cocktail

The Sidecar cocktail is a drink made with Cognac, orange liqueur, and lemon juice. It is believed that this beverage was invented during World War I in Paris. The Ritz in Paris claims that the drink was created in their hotel.

  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/4 cups orange liqueur, triple sec
  • 1/2 cups cognac
  • 2 lime peels, lemon zest

  • Combine the cognac, triple sec, and lemon juice in a shaker filled with plenty of ice and shake very well.
  • Pour into a glass and garnish with lemon peels.
