This spiced chocolate coffee recipe has an extra special touch, as it is made with various spices and delicious chocolate. It is made with water, is very easy to make, and is a different drink to start the day.
5 tablespoons Mexican chocolate, chopped or powdered
1 star anise pod
1 teaspoon cardamom
1 teaspoon cilantro seeds
1/4 teaspoons nutmeg
1 cinnamon stick
4 tablespoons coffee , freshly ground

In a pot, heat the water over medium heat, add the table chocolate, star anise, cardamom, coriander seeds, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes, add the freshly ground coffee, cover, and remove from heat. Let it steep for 2 minutes.
Serve hot and enjoy alone or with bread.
