  • 3 cups water
  • 1 sprig fresh thyme
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric, yellow
  • 2 lemons
  • 5 centimeters fresh ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper

  • Wash and peel the ginger (this can be done with the help of a spoon). Cut the piece of ginger into slices.
  • Cut the previously washed lemons into large slices.
  • Place the cups of water, lemon slices, thyme sprig, ginger, honey, cayenne pepper, and turmeric in a pot.
  • Bring to a boil until it reaches a semi-thick mixture of deep yellow color.
  • Serve immediately.
