The Butter Pillows with a Touch of Orange is a delicious dessert, with a very soft texture, fluffy and ideal to accompany a rich coffee. It has a very nice flavor.
Put warm water (not hot) in the mixing bowl, and incorporate the yeast and 50g of the flour along with a pinch of sugar (taken from the same) and let it rest for 10 minutes.
After this resting time, put the hook on the mixer and add the condensed milk and mix, then add the eggs one by one and continue with the sugar, followed by the flour mixed with a pinch of salt, alternating with the milk, essences, and orange juice, knead to integrate very well.
Now we will add the softened butter and continue kneading until the dough has consistency; it should pull away from the sides of the bowl and form a ball on the mixer hook at that moment we will know it is ready.
Place our dough in a previously greased container and let it rest until it doubles in volume, covered with plastic, in a draft-free place.
After this time, cut into portions, shape into balls, and place on trays to rest again until they double in volume, glaze with egg and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for approximately 20 to 25 minutes.
