Delicious Banana Bread

  • 3 bananas, large and ripe
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 cup sugar, approximately 220 grams
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted, approximately 42 grams
  • 2 cups flour, approximately 250 grams
  • 1 teaspoon yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt

  • In a bowl, mash the bananas well with a fork until it reaches a consistency similar to puree (some chunks may remain).
  • Beat the egg well and mix it with the banana.
  • Add the sugar and stir well until fully integrated.
  • Melt the butter and add it to the mixture, stirring well.
  • In another bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add the sifted ingredients to the banana mixture and mix well.
  • Fill a (previously greased) mold and bake at 180ºC for 35-40 minutes.
  • Insert a toothpick into the center of the cake, and if it comes out clean, it's ready.
  • Let cool completely before removing from the mold.
