Easy Orange Bread

  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, ointment
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 orange
  • 1 lime
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon orange liqueur

  • Beat the butter with the sugar until it has a creamy consistency.
  • Add the eggs one by one to the mixture.
  • Grate the lemon and the orange, then squeeze the juice from both.
  • Add the juice and zest to the mixture.
  • Sift the flour with the baking powder and baking soda and add it to the mixture.
  • Beat everything and finally add the orange liqueur.
  • Place the mixture in a greased and floured mold to prevent sticking; you can put breadcrumbs at the bottom of the mold.
  • Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for approximately 20 to 30 minutes (if the oven does not have a temperature gauge, set the knob to number 3).
