Hamburger Bun

Delicious homemade bread for making hamburgers. Bake this fluffy bread that will be perfect for a barbecue.

  • 375 grams flour
  • 20 grams sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 50 milliliters cow's milk, warm
  • 4 grams dry yeast
  • 150 milliliters water, warm
  • 30 grams butter, (2 tablespoons)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg, (for brushing)
  • sesame seeds

  • Mix all the ingredients very well until obtaining a flexible dough like rubber.
  • Once ready, let it rest for 40 to 60 minutes to double its size. You can cover it with a slightly damp cloth.
  • Cut the dough into 6 equal portions, forming balls of the same size. Let it rest for another 40 minutes.
  • After this time, brush with a pastry brush dipped in scrambled egg. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for 15 minutes at 180° C.
