500 grams puff pastry
1 egg
300 grams semisweet chocolate, in squares
powdered sugar

Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
Cut the puff pastry into 12 rectangles of approx. 5 x 8 cm.
Beat the egg in a deep bowl.
Place the rectangles with the short side facing you. With a brush, paint the upper third of each rectangle with the egg.
Place approximately 1 tablespoon of chocolate in the center of each rectangle.
Roll the rectangles starting from the short side closest to you.
Place the rolls on a baking tray and with the leftover egg, brush a little to ensure they brown well.
Bake for 15 minutes or until the puff pastry is golden. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
