Spanish Baguette

A baguette filled with longaniza, ham, bacon, bell pepper, and mozzarella cheese. It's the perfect combination when you want something quick to cook and delicious.

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Pour the flour, yeast, salt, and sugar into a bowl. Stir gradually and add water little by little. Knead and let it rest for 20 minutes.
  • Chop the ham, bacon, and bell pepper into julienne strips. Cook the longaniza.
  • Pour the puree and tomato into a blender and add herbs to taste, then blend.
  • Roll out the dough into a baguette shape, spread the tomato puree, and sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and other ingredients. Seal the baguette and place it on a baking sheet. Before putting it in the oven, make some small cuts on the top.
  • Brush with the egg.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 25 minutes or until cooked through.
