Broccoli Cheese Pie

  • 1 bag Eva® broccoli bits, 454 g
  • 1 cup unsalted butter , in cubes, for the dough
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour , for the dough
  • 1 teaspoon salt , for the dough
  • 2 tablespoons water, for the dough
  • 2 eggs , for the filling
  • 1 cup goat cheese, crumbled, for the filling
  • 1/2 cups Gouda cheese, grated, for the filling
  • 1/2 cups whipping cream , for the filling
  • 4 tablespoons milk , for the filling
  • salt , for the filling
  • pepper , for the filling

  • In a mixer, blend the butter with the flour and salt until you achieve a sand-like texture.
  • Add water and form a homogeneous ball. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C, roll out the dough to about 1 cm thick and place it in a previously greased pie mold. Set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix Eva® Broccoli Bits with goat cheese, gouda cheese, egg, milk, and heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Place the mixture over the dough in the previously buttered pie mold and bake at 180° for 45 minutes.
  • Serve the pie accompanied by a nice salad.
