1 1/4 cups flour
3 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder, royal
1/4 teaspoons salt
1 cup cow's milk
2 eggs, separating the yolks from the whites
7 tablespoons butter, 3 tablespoons melted, plus 4 tablespoons
1/2 cups semi-dark chocolate chips
whipped creams
maple syrup

In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a small bowl, combine the milk, egg yolks, and 3 tablespoons of melted butter.
Add the milk and egg mixture to the flour, whisking until well combined and smooth.
In another small bowl, beat the egg whites with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the previous mixture.
Add the chocolate chips and stir gently.
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a hot skillet and use a large spoon to pour in 1/4 cup of the batter to make a pancake.
Let cook for 2-3 minutes (until bubbles appear) and then flip.
Repeat this process with the remaining batter and the rest of the butter.
