Granola Stuffed Apples

Enjoy these baked granola stuffed apples, with a touch of yogurt and accompanied by Karo® Honey and Aladino®, you'll simply love them! They are perfect for a rich, balanced, and practical breakfast!

  • 2 gala apples
  • water, cold, for the apples
  • 1 teaspoon salt, for the apples
  • 1/4 cups Aladino® Peanut Butter
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cups granola
  • 1/4 cups walnuts, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded coconut
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 2 tablespoons Karo® Maple
  • 1/2 cups water
  • Karo® Maple, for decoration

  • Hollow out the apple: Cut the top off the apple on a cutting board, then use a spoon to scoop out the pulp until you have enough space to fill. Soak in cold salted water and repeat until all the apples are done. Remember that before using the apples again, you should drain them and dry them with paper towels.
  • In a bowl, mix Aladino® peanut butter with natural yogurt, granola, nuts, shredded coconut, and cinnamon. Sweeten with Karo® Maple and blend until you get a uniform mixture.
  • Fill the apples with the previous mixture and place on a microwave-safe plate, one apple at a time.
  • Cover with non-stick plastic wrap and microwave for 3 minutes or until the apples soften.
  • Once the apples come out of the oven, let them cool slightly. Then serve and decorate with a little Karo® Maple.
