A gourmet fruit salad with a touch of mint inside jack o lantern oranges. Let your imagination run wild and fill these oranges with other things like ice cream and jellies.
Place 3 cups of water and 1 cup of sugar in a pot and cook over low heat until the sugar has dissolved. Add the mint and cook for 10 more minutes. Remove from heat and take out the mint leaves.
Wash and disinfect the strawberries, remove the stems, and cut them in half.
Wash the raspberries.
Slice the bananas.
Cut the pineapple into cubes.
Wash the oranges, cut the top horizontally, and carefully remove the filling with a spoon and a knife.
Using a sharp knife, carve the faces of the jack o lanterns on each orange.
Mix the syrup with the fruits in a deep bowl and let marinate until serving time.
Serve a few spoonfuls of the fruit salad in each orange and place on a platter.
