  • 1 kilo masa dough
  • 1/4 liters chicken broth
  • 150 grams piloncillo
  • 300 grams lard
  • 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 4 cups green beans, cooked and cut in half
  • 25 leaves corn husk, green

  • Beat the dough with the chicken broth and the piloncillo until it is fluffy.
  • Using a hand mixer, beat the lard.
  • Add the lard to the dough and continue mixing, then add the baking powder and the green beans. At this point, you can add a little salt.
  • With a spoon, spread the dough on the leaves, then wrap them and place them in a steamer to cook for about 45 minutes or until the dough easily separates from the leaf.
