Pineapple Porridge with Oats

  • 1/2 cups oats
  • 1 cup cow's milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 slices pineapple
  • water

  • In a small pot, bring the milk to a boil.
  • Once the milk starts to boil, add the tablespoon of sugar and stir.
  • Add the oats to the milk, let it cook for 5 minutes while stirring occasionally. When it thickens, turn off the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • On the other hand, chop the pineapple slices into small cubes and place them in a microwave-safe container for 2 minutes.
  • Remove from the microwave and divide the pineapple into two portions, blend one portion with a few tablespoons of water (approximately 3 to 5 tablespoons); not much is needed, just enough to make a good puree. Reserve the other portion of pineapple for decoration.
  • Add the pineapple puree to the oats, mix well, serve, and decorate.
