Mini Rainbow Hot Cakes

  • 1 1/2 cups Great Value® wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Great Value® plain salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups Great Value® whole milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • food coloring
  • chantilly cream, for serving
  • 1 cup mixed berries, for serving

  • In a bowl, sift the flour with the baking soda, salt, and sugar.
  • Add the milk, egg, butter, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and mix with a whisk until you achieve a smooth mixture.
  • Divide the mixture into six bowls and color with the colors of the rainbow.
  • Heat a small non-stick skillet over medium heat, pour a little of the hot cake mixture, and cook for about 5 minutes until cooked, flipping halfway through. Repeat with the remaining mixture until finished.
