  • In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix the melted butter, milk, and egg.
  • Pour the milk mixture into the bowl of flour and stir with a whisk. The batter should have some small lumps.
  • Heat a large skillet until hot, then make the pancakes by placing the batter with a large spoon onto the skillet to the desired size. (If you have a large round cookie cutter, you can use it as a guide to form a more perfect circle with the batter.)
  • Flip them with a spatula when bubbles start to form, to cook the other side.
  • Place one pancake on the plate. Take another pancake and cut out two ears from the edges using the edge of a large round cookie cutter (or a round bowl). The remaining piece is used as the bunny's bow. Repeat with the rest of the pancakes.
  • Decorate the face with two blueberries for eyes, a raspberry for the nose, and two slivered almonds for teeth. Decorate the bow and the center of the ears with whipped cream.
  • Serve accompanied by butter and maple syrup.
