Kitten Hot Cakes

This recipe is very cute for all the detail-oriented women like me; it’s very quick and just like regular hotcakes, but more decorative and adorable.

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups cow's milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted

  • In a medium bowl, combine all the dry ingredients (flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder). Next, add the milk, egg, and melted butter. Whisk well. Preheat a non-stick skillet. Take a small amount of the pancake mix to form a circle. About 3 tablespoons. Cook until bubbles begin to form. Carefully flip the pancakes and cook until they are golden brown.
  • To assemble the pancake: For the head: use a circular hotcake. For the ears and body: cut strawberries into thirds and place them. For the tail: cut a rounded piece from the edge of a strawberry. For the eyes: use blueberries, sliced in half. For the legs: use raspberries. For the arms: cut a small piece of pancake to create an arm shape.
