Mini Colorful Star-Shaped Hotcakes

Delicious and fun star-shaped colorful hotcakes, in addition to being an ideal breakfast for kids and adults, as it contains egg making it a recipe rich in vitamins, proteins, and minerals.   • 1 cup pancake mix
  • 3/4 cups whole milk
  • 1 egg
  • food coloring, (red, blue, yellow, and green)
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • canned pineapple, or your preferred chopped fruit
  • chantilly cream, or honey

  • Mix the flour, milk, egg, margarine, and vanilla in a bowl until smooth and free of lumps.
  • Divide the mixture into five cups. Color each mixture with a different color; you can make combinations to create different colors (red and blue: purple, yellow and red: orange).
  • Preheat a non-stick skillet and once ready, pour the mixture into the center of the skillet to make a medium-sized circle so that the mixture spreads. Let them cook on low heat to avoid burning or sticking to the skillet.
  • Repeat with all the colors, finishing with the mixtures.
  • Cut the hotcakes with a cookie cutter.
  • Decorate with diced pineapple and whipped cream.
