This pancake recipe is made with caramelized apples and served with maple syrup. It is a delight for breakfast on a cold day accompanied by coffee or tea. It also makes a delicious dessert for a craving. EAT WELL
First, prepare the caramelized apples. Melt the butter in a large skillet and add the brown sugar and cinnamon. Cook and stir until all the sugar is melted. Add the apple slices and coat them with this caramel mixture.
Cook the apples over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until they are soft, stirring frequently. Keep warm over low heat when ready.
Prepare the pancakes by mixing the Gamesa® Pancake Flour with cinnamon, and add the milk, egg, and melted butter.
Stir with a whisk to avoid lumps and let it rest for 1-2 minutes to thicken.
In a large non-stick skillet, melt a little butter and pour in 1/4 cup of the pancake mixture. Wait for bubbles to form and it to be golden, then flip. Repeat this step until all the pancake mixture is used.
Serve the pancakes with the caramelized apple mixture and maple syrup.
