Puff pastry roll with ham and cheese

This delicious puff roll recipe is filled with ham and cheese. They like everyone, children and adults, and it is very easy to prepare.

  • 250 grams puff pastry, purchased
  • eggs
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/4 kilos turkey deli ham
  • 1/4 kilos deli ham
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
  • Mix the tablespoon of water with the egg.
  • Put the puff pastry on a flat surface and sprinkle with flour. Knead until forming a rectangle of 40 x 30 cm.
  • With the shorter side facing you, put a layer of ham and another of turkey ham leaving a 2cm edge on the top.
  • Sprinkle with the grated cheese and roll the puff pastry to form a roll.
  • Place on a baking tray with the part where it opens down. Coat with the egg mixed with water.
  • Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let stand for 10 minutes and enjoy.
