  • 1/2 chicken breasts

  • 2 árbol chiles
  • 1/4 onions
  • 1 clove garlic

  • 2 cups tortilla chips

  • queso fresco, crumbled

  • Cook the chicken with onion and salt in a pot with enough water for 30 minutes or until cooked. Remove from the pot, shred, and set aside.
  • Cook the tomatoes, guajillo pepper, árbol pepper, onion, and garlic with water in a pot for 10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • Blend the tomatoes, guajillo pepper, árbol pepper, onion, and garlic. Set aside.
  • Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat and fry the sauce for 5 minutes, then add the tortilla chips and cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Serve the red chilaquiles on a flat plate and add some chicken, cream, cheese, cilantro leaves, and onion.
