Mint and Lemon Smoothie

  • 8 mint leaves
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • lime zest
  • sugar , to taste
  • ice cubes
  • 1/2 cups water

  • Place the mint leaves with the lemon zest and water in a pot.
  • Once it starts to boil, turn off the heat.
  • Strain and wait for it to cool.
  • Blend all the ingredients except for the lemon juice. At the end of the preparation, add the lemon juice, blend for 10 more seconds, and serve.
