Blend the cream cheese, milk, 3 tbsp. of sugar, vanilla, and 6 cookies until you obtain a homogeneous mixture. Pour everything except 1/2 cup of this mixture into a liquid measuring cup. Set aside for later use.
Add the strawberries and the remaining sugar to the cream cheese mixture in the blender; blend until you have a homogeneous mixture. Pour this into 4 glasses.
Carefully pour the cream cheese mixture that you set aside over the strawberry mixture in the glasses. Crush the remaining cookie; sprinkle the crumbs over the smoothies. Serve.
