In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
In another large bowl, beat the egg yolks with the sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract, and whisk with a balloon whisk.
Combine the flour mixture with the egg mixture and beat.
With an electric mixer, beat the egg whites for 1 minute until stiff peaks form. Using a wooden spoon, mix the egg whites with the flour and egg mixture. Add the blackberries to the mixture and stir with a wooden spatula.
Grease the waffle maker with cooking spray and place enough batter to make 1 waffle. Close the waffle maker and cook for 2-3 minutes or until lightly golden. Repeat with the remaining waffles.
