Waffles with Blackberries

  • 2/3 cups flour
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons whole-wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons ginger powder
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoons clove
  • 3/4 cups cow's milk
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • spray oil, pam
  • few icing sugar
  • blackberries
  • whipped creams

  • Meanwhile, mix in a deep bowl the flour, sugar, whole wheat flour, baking powder, ground ginger, cinnamon, salt, pepper, and clove.
  • In a small bowl, mix the milk with the lemon juice and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • Add the milk, honey, and eggs to the flour mixture and mix well with a whisk.
  • Add the butter.
  • Grease your waffle maker with cooking spray and heat for 2-3 minutes.
  • Make the waffles until they are lightly golden. While cooking the rest of the batter, cover the ones you have already made so they don't get cold.
  • Finally, decorate with blackberries and whipped cream.
