BBQ Ribs in Exquisite Homemade Sauce

  • 1 liter water
  • 1 kilo pork ribs
  • 1/4 onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, powder
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon chile flakes
  • 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1/2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 lime
  • 4 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Maggi seasoning sauce
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • Preheat the oven to 190°c
  • Heat water in the pressure cooker over medium heat; add the pork ribs, onion, and garlic. Cover and cook for 7 minutes once the valve starts to sound.
  • Mix in a bowl the garlic powder with the onion powder, chili flakes, sugar, mustard, ketchup, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, Maggi seasoning, pepper, and salt.
  • Remove the ribs from the pot and coat them with the previous mixture, reserving some for glazing later.
  • Place the ribs on a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes. Glaze the ribs halfway through the cooking time with the sauce you reserved.
