Beef and Vegetables in the Wok

Beef and many vegetables marinated in soy sauce in the wok. They include a bit of sake and lemon, ingredients that give an oriental touch, allowing you to prepare a simple, healthy, and delicious dish at home. Don't hesitate to make it and surprise everyone at home.

  • 1 kilo beef tenderloin
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into julienne
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into julienne
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into julienne
  • 1 cup chinese pea
  • 1 cup wheat sprouts
  • 1/2 cups button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cups carrot, in julienne
  • 1/2 cups soy sauce
  • 1 cup sake, (if you don't have it, you can use beer)
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 lime

  • In a large deep bowl, mix the soy sauce, sake, lemon, and salt and pepper.
  • Add the meat to the bowl and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Place a wok (or skillet) over medium heat and heat the sesame oil. Once the oil is hot, add the vegetables first and cook for about 15 minutes (until the vegetables are cooked).
  • Add the meat with all the marinade juices to the vegetables and cook until the desired doneness for the meat (about 5-10 minutes).
  • Remove from heat and serve very hot.
