Beef Steak with Chorizo Crust

This taco variant in Mexico is everyone's favorite, the crust is made with manchego cheese and golden asadero cheese that wraps delicious beef steak with chorizo, served in flour tortillas accompanied by pico de gallo salsa and avocado. You will love it!

  • 1 cup longaniza, cut into pieces
  • 1/2 cups white onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup beefsteak, chopped
  • 2 cups Manchego cheese, grated
  • 1 cup asadero cheese, grated
  • 4 flour tortillas, for serving
  • pico de gallo
  • green salsa, or red
  • avocado
  • fresh cilantro
  • lime juice

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the chorizo until it releases its fat, add the onion, the beef steak and cook until done, remove from the skillet and set aside. Wash with Salvo® more power*, grease-cutting expert. *vs the other liquid dish soap of similar price.
  • In the same skillet, add the cheeses and cook until a crust forms, place the meat mixture in the center and fold in half.
  • Serve the crust over a flour tortilla and accompany with salsa, pico de gallo, avocado, cilantro, and lime.
