Beef Tips with Chayotes and Mushrooms

  • 500 grams beefsteak, sliced (round)
  • 1 can button mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 chayotes, peeled in cubes and cooked
  • 1 cube chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tomato, in cubes
  • 1 onion, in cubes
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 leaf bay

  • Sauté the beef tips in the oil.
  • Add the tomato and onion.
  • Add the chopped garlic.
  • Add the chopped chayotes and let it cook.
  • When the chayotes are translucent, add the mushrooms, bay leaf, and chicken bouillon cube.
  • Let it cook for 3 more minutes and serve.
  • Serve with steamed broccoli.
  • Serve with fried rice.
