Cut the carrots, onion, bell peppers, cabbage, and mushrooms into strips. Cut the chicken, green onion, and beef into medium pieces.
Place the oil in a deep pot and heat over medium heat.
Fry the onion until it becomes transparent.
Place the chicken in the pot, after 3 minutes add the beef, cook for another 3 minutes. Add the green onion, a pinch of salt, and cook for 3 more minutes.
Incorporate the carrot, a few minutes later add the bell pepper, then add the cabbage and mushrooms. Cook for 5 more minutes and add the cup of water and soy sauce, let it cook for 10 minutes.
In 3/4 cup of water, dissolve the cornstarch in order to thicken the sauce in the pot.
On a plate, place the bean sprouts and soy sauce, set aside until 10 minutes of cooking time have passed in the pot. Add the bean sprouts to the pot along with the soy sauce and cook for 5 more minutes.
Add the dissolved cornstarch and cook until the sauce thickens.
