When you want to create something easy to prepare that can leave most people in awe, this is the recipe.
Delicious, with an incredible flavor and a perfect presentation to serve alone or with sides. A tasty meat roll with BBQ sauce.
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. If your oven has numbers, it should be set between 2 and 3.
Place the meat in a deep bowl to mix, season with salt and pepper to taste. Add two tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce or Maggi seasoning.
Make sure everything is well mixed.
On the sushi mat, lay the bacon horizontally, so that the length of the bacon shapes the roll.
Place enough slices of bacon on your mat; the more slices, the longer the roll will be.
Put the meat on top of the bacon, creating a layer of 1 to 2 cm, leaving 1 cm of bacon free on each side.
Cut the cheese into cubes and place them in the center of the roll, creating a vertical line; this will be the center of the roll when you fold it.
Use the mat to shape the sushi, making sure the bacon touches itself to seal it well.
Using a kitchen brush, cover the entire roll with Hunt's ® Original BBQ Sauce.
Bake for 25 minutes. Remove and cover the entire roll again with Hunt's ® Original BBQ Sauce for better flavor and finish.
Bake for another 25 minutes.
While the roll is in the oven, finely chop half an onion. Cut two slices of bacon into small pieces
and fry everything in a pan over medium heat until it's fully browned and crispy.
Carefully remove the roll from the oven, giving it a final touch with Hunt's ® Original BBQ Sauce.
Cover the roll with the onion and bacon for a crispy finish.
Slice into not-too-thin pieces and serve.
