Meat Skewers with Cheese

These delicious meat skewers with cheese are perfect for giving a twist to the traditional recipe, as they are made from mini meatballs stuffed with cheese and delicious vegetables, and then everything is grilled. You won't be able to resist dipping them in McCormick® mayo DIP.

  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup Manchego cheese, cut into large cubes
  • 2 cups bell pepper, red, green, yellow, orange bell peppers, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup red onion, cut into cubes

  • Mix the ground beef with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, the egg, and breadcrumbs in a bowl until completely integrated.
  • Take some of the meat mixture and form a small meatball. With the help of a finger, make a hole and place a piece of cheese inside. Close the meatball and repeat this action until you finish with the meat.
  • Form the skewers with the meatballs, bell peppers, and onion.
  • Once the skewers are formed, heat a pan or grill, add cooking spray, and cook the skewers for approximately 10 minutes each. Turn them until fully cooked.
  • Serve the meat skewers with cheese accompanied by McCormick® mayo DIP esquites and enjoy.
