500 grams ground beef
1 egg
5 cups rice
3 tomatillos, chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
3 potatoes, chopped
1 bunch fresh cilantro, finely chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
salt and pepper
1 clove garlic, ground

In a pot, fry the onion in two tablespoons of olive oil until golden.
Add the tomatoes and fry until soft.
Add 2 liters of water and let it boil.
In a bowl, mix the ground meat with the egg, half of the rice, half of the cilantro, and season with salt, pepper, garlic, and oregano.
Form the meatballs about 5 to 6 cm in diameter and set aside.
In boiling water, add the meatballs one by one and let it come to a boil again for 10 min.
Add the rice, the potatoes, and the rest of the cilantro; season with salt, pepper, garlic, oregano, and cumin to taste.
Let it boil until the potatoes and rice are cooked.
