Quick Meatballs

A recipe with few ingredients and very simple to prepare; I hope you like it. It's the base for making them as easy as possible with minimal ingredients and low budget.

  • 1 kilo ground meat, beef
  • salt
  • 2 cans canned tomato
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • pepper

  • Heat a teaspoon of oil in a saucepan and add the tomato sauce to season it; add salt and pepper, and lower the temperature.
  • In a deep bowl, place the ground beef and season with salt and pepper; mix very well and form balls the size of a golf ball. When making them, it is important to press the meatballs very firmly so they do not lose their shape while cooking.
  • Increase the temperature of the tomato sauce and carefully add the meatballs one by one, which yield approximately 10. Add a bit more water to cover the meatballs and stir slightly, then let cook without stirring for 15 minutes. If you prefer the sauce to be thicker, leave it for another 5 minutes on high heat or until the desired thickness is achieved.
