Rice Meatballs with Cauliflower Bits

Making meatballs with a different twist is very simple with this recipe. If you add some cauliflower bits and prepare a morita chili sauce with tomato, your meatballs will be a completely different dish.

  • In a bowl, mix the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, EVA® Cauliflower Bits, and cilantro.
  • With the help of your hands, form the meatballs and set aside.
  • Heat the oil over medium heat in a saucepan and fry the tomatoes, garlic, and chiles for 5 minutes. Pour in the KNORR® vegetable broth prepared according to the package instructions, add the cilantro and cumin, and cook for 5 minutes. Let it cool slightly.
  • Blend the previous preparation until you obtain a smooth sauce.
  • Fry the sauce again with a little more oil and cook for 10 minutes over medium heat, add the meatballs, cover, and cook until the meatballs are cooked through.
  • Serve the meatballs with a little more rice with corn and yellow cauliflower bits, and garnish with fresh cilantro.
