1/2 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped, for the dressing

2 cups red onion, sliced, for the caramelized onion
1/4 cups balsamic vinegar, for the caramelized onion

1 kilo rib eye

For the dressing: Mix the mayonnaise, cream, mustard, lemon juice, garlic, green onion, salt, and pepper until combined. Set aside.
For the caramelized onion: Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat, add the onion, balsamic vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes or until the onion is caramelized. Set aside.
Add a little more butter in the same pan, place the rib eye, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3 minutes on each side or until the meat is cooked to your desired doneness.
Spread the dressing on both sides of the bread and add the rib eye in strips, cheese, and caramelized onions. Then, bake the rib eye sandwich for 3 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
Serve the rib eye sandwich and accompany it with French fries.
