Rib Eye Sandwich

  • For the dressing: Mix the mayonnaise, cream, mustard, lemon juice, garlic, green onion, salt, and pepper until combined. Set aside.
  • For the caramelized onion: Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat, add the onion, balsamic vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes or until the onion is caramelized. Set aside.
  • Add a little more butter in the same pan, place the rib eye, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3 minutes on each side or until the meat is cooked to your desired doneness.
  • Spread the dressing on both sides of the bread and add the rib eye in strips, cheese, and caramelized onions. Then, bake the rib eye sandwich for 3 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
  • Serve the rib eye sandwich and accompany it with French fries.
