Roasted Beef Steak

Prepare this roasted beef steak any day of the week, pair it with a lettuce salad with tomato and carrot and a honey balsamic vinaigrette dressing for a balanced and complete meal. These beef steaks are also very practical, as you only need to marinate them with a mixture of hot sauce, lemon juice, garlic, soy sauce, and spices to make them delicious.

  • 4 beef tenderloins
  • 5 limes, (juice)
  • 4 tablespoons Salsa Huichol® hot sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoons oregano
  • 1/4 cups soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 tablespoons black pepper
  • salt

  • Mix in a bowl the Huichol Sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, cumin, oregano, soy sauce, pepper, and salt until well combined; set aside.
  • In a square, flat dish, place the 4 steaks side by side, pour the previous mixture over them, cover the dish, and refrigerate for 2 hours to allow the flavors to blend well.
  • Remove the steaks from the refrigerator and in a hot skillet, fry them with olive oil until they reach the desired doneness.
  • Serve hot and accompany with a salad of lettuces, quartered tomatoes, grated carrots, sliced onion, and chopped peanuts with a honey balsamic vinaigrette.
