Blend the onion, garlic, and oil. Let the raw filet marinate in this for at least 1 hour.
Preheat a griddle for 15 minutes and sear the filet until browned on the outside but red on the inside. About 10 minutes on each side. If a griddle is not available, it can also be seared in a large skillet.
To prepare the sauce, place the morels and butter in a skillet over low heat for 3 minutes until soft.
Blend together with the cream, broth, and the morels from the skillet. If desired, you can leave pieces of morels. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees and heat the filet for 15 minutes.
Heat the sauce separately on the stove until warm.
To serve, coat the filet with the sauce and bake for 20 minutes in a dish covered with aluminum foil.
