Teppanyaki

Teppanyaki is a very popular dish in Japanese cuisine thanks to its great flavor, so you can't miss this delight, it's finger-licking good!

  • peanut oil
  • 500 grams beef tenderloin, in cubes
  • 1/2 cups green onion, in halves
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, in strips and seedless
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, in strips and seedless
  • 2 carrots, in thin strips
  • 1/2 cups broccoli, without heart, in florets
  • 1/4 cups soy sauce
  • 1/4 cups teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, finely chopped
  • 3/4 cups soybean sprouts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted, for garnish

  • Heat some peanut oil in a wok, add the beef fillet, and cook until it changes color. Then, add the green onions and garlic and continue stirring until the onion is slightly golden. Finally, incorporate the peppers, carrot, and broccoli. Cook for 8 minutes.
  • Add the soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, lemon juice, ginger, and bean sprouts, and cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Season the teppanyaki with salt and pepper.
  • Serve the teppanyaki in a deep plate and garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
