Wash your whole chicken, put it in a large Ziploc bag, and add 2 of the beers.
It can marinate from 2 days before or 30 minutes before cooking. The longer, the better.
Preheat the oven or outdoor grill (as long as it has a lid).
On a tray lined with aluminum foil, place the can of beer and sit the chicken on it. It will sit on the beer, and its legs will act as a tripod to keep it from falling.
With your hands, thoroughly rub the chicken with salt and garlic for a better browning of the skin.
Place in the oven or on the grill for approximately 45 minutes.
Your chicken is ready.
