Chicken Breasts in Mushroom Sauce

Delicious chicken breasts bathed in a smooth and creamy sauce with pieces of mushrooms.

  • 4 chicken breasts, flattened
  • 1 can button mushrooms
  • 1 can cream of mushroom
  • 3 tablespoons chicken broth, for seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons butter, to sauté
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 onions, finely chopped

  • Place the flattened chicken breasts on a board and season with salt and pepper.
  • In a hot skillet, add the butter and cook the chicken breasts for about 4 minutes on each side over medium heat.
  • In a skillet (pot), add a bit of butter, garlic, and onion to sauté, then add the stems of the mushrooms and stir for 2 minutes. Next, add the cream and chicken broth and bring to a boil. If you prefer, you can add a bit of milk to make it less creamy.
  • Blend all the ingredients for the sauce. Once blended, pour the mixture into the skillet with the chicken breasts.
  • Add the sliced mushrooms to the sauce and let it cook for 10 minutes. Serve the chicken breast covered in sauce and mushrooms.
