Chicken Casserole

  • 8 chickens, (thighs and legs) skinless
  • 2 carrots, cut into julienne
  • 2 potatoes, medium cut into wedges
  • 2 sprigs celery, chopped
  • 1 apple, sliced into wedges
  • aromatic herbs, to taste
  • salt, for seasoning

  • After washing and cutting the ingredients, place all the ingredients in a large pan or casserole, season with salt. It is not necessary to add oil, as the chicken will cook in its own fat and the liquid from the vegetables. Over medium heat for 1 hour, check the chicken every 20 minutes and turn the pieces to cook evenly.
  • It can be served with rice or pasta as a side dish.
