Chicken in Green Sauce with Chayotes

  • 1 chicken breast , whole
  • 1/2 cups water
  • 200 grams tomatillo
  • 2 chayotes
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 onions, chopped
  • 1 pinch cumin
  • 1 sprig mint leaf
  • 1 tablespoon granulated chicken bouillon
  • 1 serrano chile, or jalapeño to taste

  • Cook the skinless chicken adding garlic, onion, and mint. Cook the tomatoes separately along with the onion and chile.
  • Blend the tomatoes, onion, and chile previously cooked together with a tablespoon of chicken bouillon powder and a pinch of cumin. Add a little water if necessary. Add salt to taste
  • Put the tomatoes on the heat with half a cup of chopped onion, previously cooked and chopped chayote, and shredded chicken
