2 tablespoons vegetable oil
15 tomatillos
2 serrano chiles
4 sprigs fresh cilantro
1/2 onions
1 clove garlic

Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Brown it in hot oil for 10 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
Blend the peeled green tomatoes, chiles, cilantro, onion, and garlic in the blender. Season with salt and pepper. Put the sauce in a large saucepan.
Cut the potatoes in half and boil them for 10 minutes. Then add them to the sauce along with the chicken and the juices it has released.
Cook over medium heat until the chicken and potatoes are well cooked, approximately 40 minutes.
