Chicken with mushrooms and herb cream cheese sauce

  • 1 chicken breast, sliced
  • 200 grams cream cheese, herb
  • 200 milliliters cow's milk
  • 1/2 onions
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 150 grams deli ham, cut into pieces
  • 200 grams button mushrooms

  • Slice the onion into thin strips and place in a pot with a little oil and cook over low heat.
  • While cleaning and cutting the chicken into pieces, season with salt and pepper and brown in a separate pan with a little oil.
  • Slice the mushrooms and add them along with the pieces of ham.
  • When the mushrooms have reduced, add the chicken and let it cook for a few minutes.
  • When the flavors are integrated, add the cream cheese, milk, and black pepper, mixing until the cheese dissolves in the milk.
  • Cook for about 5 minutes and serve with pasta or rice.
