Chicken Wrapped in Prosciutto

No one will believe that this recipe is so easy and quick to prepare! The combination of chicken with Parma ham, oregano, and white wine is perfect!

  • 4 chicken breasts, skinless
  • slices prosciutto, or Parma ham
  • 2 tablespoons fresh oregano, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/2 cups dry white wine

  • Season the chicken with 1/2 teaspoon of pepper.
  • Place the prosciutto on a cutting board and sprinkle with oregano.
  • Place each chicken breast on the prosciutto or Parma ham. Wrap the breasts.
  • Heat the oil and peeled garlic cloves in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken to the pan and cook until the prosciutto is golden and the chicken is cooked, about 6-7 minutes on each side.
  • Transfer the wrapped chickens to a platter and set aside. Remove the garlic from the pan.
  • Add the wine to the pan and let it reduce by half, cooking over medium heat for 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour the wine reduction over the chicken breasts.
