Chicken Breasts with Flower

I am from Hermosillo, Sonora, I love to cook, I have been living in Mexico City for 3 years, and here I discovered zucchini flowers and thought, a new ingredient for me, so I had to try it and make the flavor spectacular. I came up with stuffed chicken breasts.

  • 2 boneless chicken breast, flattened
  • 1 mallet zucchini blossoms, disinfected
  • vegetable, steamed of your choice
  • 50 grams Philadelphia® cream cheese
  • 2 strips bacon, fried
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  •  salt, to taste salt, to taste
  •  pepper, to taste pepper, to taste
  • vinaigrette, of your choice, optional

  • Clean and disinfect the bunch of zucchini flowers, set aside one whole flower for decoration, chop the other flowers and fry them with a bit of butter. Add bacon, salt, and pepper.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, add the cream cheese followed by the zucchini flower mixture, and roll up the breasts. Set aside.
  • Preheat a skillet, add margarine, and place the chicken breasts until they are well cooked and golden.
  • Meanwhile, sauté the vegetables in a bit of margarine and add salt and pepper.
  • Fill the flower we reserved with a bit of cream cheese and fry it a little.
