Chicken Breasts in Chocolate

  • 3 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 glass white wine
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • oil
  • 60 grams couverture chocolate
  • salt , and pepper to taste

  • Season the chicken breasts very well with salt and pepper and place them in a skillet with a little oil until sealed on both sides, without cooking them too much.
  • In a separate pan, heat the onion with oil and add the crushed garlic until it softens a bit, then add the chicken broth, the cornstarch dissolved in a little water, and stir constantly to avoid lumps and keep the mixture creamy without letting it dry out too much. Add the wine, place the chocolate in a double boiler until it becomes liquid and mix it well with the sauce.
  • Add this mixture to the chicken breasts and let it cook for 10 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
