Chicken Mixiote with Achiote

Delicious and very Mexican chicken mixiote with achiote, seasoned with Knorr Mi Pollo al Horno.

  • 1 envelope Knorr® my recipes baked garlic and onion
  • 1/2 kilos boneless chicken breast
  • 1/2 sticks achiote
  • 1/2 cups orange juice
  • 1 guajillo chile
  • 100 grams avocado, its leaves (optional)

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Put the chicken in the baking bag from the Knorr Mi Pollo al Horno packet, pour in the seasoning powder My chicken in the oven garlic and onion, cover with avocado leaves, and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, bring the guajillo pepper to a boil and once it has softened, blend it with orange juice and achiote.
  • Once the chicken is ready, wait 10 minutes for it to cool and shred it, keeping the avocado leaves with the chicken.
  • Pour the achiote mixture over the chicken and let it marinate for 2 hours, wrap it in mixiote leaves and heat in a water bath or steamer for about 15 to 20 minutes.
